Oceanside Gymnastics day campers will explore the world of gymnastics through age appropriate games and activities including 30 minutes (per half day) of gymnastics instruction. Campers will participate in many different activities including: group games, craft, snack, bungee, and more. Camp provides children the opportunity to build new friendship, overcome challenges, stay healthy, become physically fit, and build character. Children will be most comfortable in athletic appropriate clothing. Elastic waist shorts or sweats, t-shirt or leotard are preferred. No spaghetti strap shirts, jeans, or pants with a belt, buttons, zippers or snaps. Please label your child's clothing. Any reusable water bottles should be labeled with the child's name. Snacks and Lunch will NOT be provided, please pack healthy, peanut-free snacks and lunches. Please leave all electronics, music and valuable items at home. We do not have lockers and are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Label all personal property so it can be returned, items not labeled will be held for one week then donated to a local charity. Camp is for children ages 4 years and older and MUST be potty trained. Campers will be divided into groups according to age. If there is a friend or sibling you would like for your child to be with, you may special request for them to be together at the office; however, we may not be able to fulfill the request due to limited spacing in groups. Games and activities are specifically designed for each age group. Age restrictions may vary for special deals. Participants using a discount voucher MUST be age 5 years and older by the first day of the camp week selected.
Camp registration can be made by calling our office at (760) 941-0202 or stopping by our office. Camp fees are due at the time of reservation. Please provide valid email address at the time of registration. You will receive a welcome email confirming your camp dates, times, and all required release forms. Registration forms must be completed by a parent or legal guardian and turned in 7 days prior to the first day of camp. See front-desk for the camp's corrisponding Registration form.
Day camps are available on a first come first serve basis. We are unable to hold spots without payment. Children may be dropped off no earlier than 8:15 AM unless camper has been signed up for extended camp. Snack will be provided; however, lunch will NOT be provided for children staying full day.
Morning - 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Afternoon - 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM
Full Day - 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Extended care is available for campers needing to be dropped off as early at 7:30 AM, or late pick up until 5:00 PM. Sign-up for extended care is required prior to the start of camp. Additional fees will apply. Campers will be supervised and may choose to participate in arts and crafts, board games, Legos or watch an age-appropriate movie. A late pick up without paying for Extended Care prior to camp will be charged $5 for every 15 minutes and will be due at pick up.
Friday is our Summer Camp's water play day (weather permitting). Please bring a towel, change of clothes or a swim suit, and sunscreen. Any water toys or squirt guns should be labeled with your child's name.
Park in any of the designated parking spots. DO NOT stop or park at the RED curb; please keep in mind that our facility neighbors a fire station. All campers must be signed in and out by a parent, legal guardian or additional persons listed on the camp registration forms. Should it be necessary for your child to be picked up by someone not previously authorized for pick up, written notification must be either dropped off at the front office, or faxed to 760-941-0909. Notification should include child's full name, person authorized to pick up camper and be signed by a parent or legal guardian. Identification will be needed at the time of pick up.
Refunds are available up to 30 days prior to the start of your camp begin date. A $25 processing fee will be subtracted from your refund. There are no refunds or credits within 30 days prior to camp. Camp weeks are not transferable within 14 days prior to camp and are based on camp availability and may only be made once without $25 processing fee.
Please make sure that any medications have been given to the child prior to arrival at camp. Oceanside Gymnastics will not be responsible for administering medications unless arrangements have been made in advance. Should your child have an allergy that requires an Epi Pen, please label your child's Epi Pen and check it in and out at the office daily.
Fun and safety are only possible when there are behavior guidelines. Campers are expected to show respect for fellow campers, counselors, staff, themselves, and the gym. Disruptive behavior and physical aggression are not acceptable. Our camp will use positive management tools. If a camper does not respond to these methods, they will be escorted to the office for a time-out. If the problem persists, camper may be removed from camp with no refund.
We offer a discounted rate for full and half day campers signing up for a full week. Half day campers must select morning or afternoon camp for the full week. Each child attending the camp may only use 1 discount voucher for the summer. Discounts/certificates/vouchers may NOT be combined and are not transferable. Half day vouchers may be upgraded to full day camp for an additional, please contact our office for details.
